Cancellation/Returns Policy

If you are a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the contract by e-mail up to 2 days prior to agreed delivery date and receive a refund. Firewood that has been delivered or is on route for delivery is subject to a re-stocking fee which includes the cost of delivery and return to our depot.

In the event of goods being returned to CelticLogs due to delivery not being possible because of poor access or a gravel driveway and where there is nowhere suitable close to the property to safely leave the goods (as agreed with customer), payment will be refunded to customer less all delivery charges incurred. In the event of goods being returned to CelticLogs arising from a dispute, payment will be refunded to customer less all charges incurred.

Refunds will be processed within 5 days of the return of the product. Goods only accepted for return in original packaging.

The buyer shall inspect the goods immediately on delivery and shall notify us by email within 72 hours of the delivery if the goods are damaged. If the buyer fails to do so the buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the goods. Unfortunately we cannot accept any claims for damages after 72 hours.

Where a claim of defect or damage is made, we will supply/replace any necessary parts to complete your agreed initial purchase. We require photographic evidence of any complaints or defects. The customer shall afford the seller an opportunity to inspect the goods within a reasonable time following delivery if the customer believes the goods are defective in any way. For defective goods our liability is limited to replacing the goods.
